Hello, I’m Ethan
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to explore my work. I’m Ethan, and I have been photographing weddings for 10 years. Nature, cinema, and photojournalism are some of the more dominant sources of inspiration in my wedding photography. Nature plays a large role in my personal life and the beauty of wild places is often on display in my work. I love the intentionality of cinema and I try to be as intentional as possible in the ways that I shoot and edit. Photojournalists and Street Photographers inspire my curiosity in people.
All of this results in a style that is polished and intentional when it’s appropriate and conversely, it is messy and spontaneous when anything else would make it feel inauthentic.
When I’m not shooting weddings
My life outside of weddings is still largely focused on my love for fly fishing and the great outdoors. My off seasons are spent exploring the American West, fishing rivers and lakes spanning from Arizona to Alaska. Photography also plays a large roll in my personal life. I am gearing up to publish my first Photography Book later this year (which also happens to be about fly fishing)
