Cody & Morgan | Engagement Session | Olympic Peninsula Washington

The Pacific Northwest is one of my favorite places to travel to for shoots. Aside from the obvious natural beauty of the landscapes, these forests offer up some of the most interesting light. Rain or shine (usually rain), the thick tree canopy narrows and softens the light in a way that is directional as if every thing is being lit by tiny little soft boxes. The more I shoot there, the more I appreciate the funky light.

Morgan and Cody were referred to me by Christina and Joey, a past couple of mine. They had planned a family trip out to Washington and figured it would be a fun opportunity to do engagement photos while they were out there. I had a great time exploring the woods with these folks and the drinks/game night that followed.
